Barr Engineering | new construction / addition / renovation
When Barr Engineering needed construction assistance, construction management or general contracting, new construction or addition, it was Stahl they called.
For the first phase, Stahl was hired as the construction manager. The project consisted of 71,000 SF of new construction, which features glass-enclosed interior offices, high-speed wiring for technology, extensive color changes for paint and carpeting to compartmentalize the large floor plate, and a large lobby aquarium. Winner of the MCA Project Achievement Award.
Two years later, Stahl was again hired as construction manager for the phase II addition. This addition consisted of adding an additional 10,000 SF of open office area to the existing 71,000 SF.
Phase III was a 67,000-SF renovation, which Stahl was hired as the general contractor. The project included completing finish updates to new millwork, flooring, walls, and ceilings.
