As much as we might like you to think otherwise, construction is not rocket science. For the most part it’s doing things on time, which requires effectively communicating to everyone involved what needs to be done, by whom and when. Because a construction project is made up of thousands upon thousands of communications, this can be a daunting task.
Our employees have shown that they understand the importance of effective communication in running a successful project. It's very rare to hear anybody on one of their projects utter the words, “I didn’t know.”
You must build quality into the project, not inspect it in. Quality
starts on day one.
Brad’s 27 years of experience; 12 with Stahl; ability to communicate, control the numerous subcontracting disciplines, and solve daily problems make him a key individual in the success of any project.
As field superintendent, Brad is the information center around which all construction activity takes place. He is responsible for (1) creating the proper work environment, (2) translating the design into coordinated work assignments, (3) interpreting the design documents, (4) removing obstacles, and (5) monitoring performance for time and quality.
