Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Communications Specialist works as a team member with the Director of Strategy / Development and Director of Operations to coordinate and manage the marketing functions of the company.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily details of marketing programs:
    • Direct mail, public relations, advertising, sponsorships and tradeshows, promotional campaigns, corporate databases, internal and external events and communications (award submissions, corporate newsletter, and industry articles), client satisfaction surveys, photography, and online presence.
  • Maintain continuity of corporate brand – manage artwork and photography ensuring quality, consistency, and logo standards.
  • Develop corporate presentations and affiliated materials.
  • Support Business Development Team with marketing and sales collateral materials for use at tradeshows and client prospect initiatives.
  • Assist in new business tracking and market research.
  • Participate as a team member in the development, planning, and implementation of sales incentive / promotional programs, sales conferences, product exhibits, open houses, etc.
  • Compose proposals and manage the entire RFP response process.
  • Design collateral pieces – direct mail, award submissions, business cards, letterhead, and internal newsletter – for Stahl and associations Stahl employees belong to.
  • Coordinate tradeshows including logistical arrangements for display booth, updating visual information, and helping to create enticements for booth visitors.
  • Assist in coordinating and managing events: subcontractor award luncheons, project events (beginning and completion).
  • Develop and maintains relationships with media and off-site production representatives.
  • Maintain website for company.

  • Is able to develop original messages, content, and collateral.
  • Self-motivated leader who can manage projects independently and think strategically, plan, and problem solve.
  • Has strong written and verbal skills as well as creative design skills.
  • Ability to lift, rotate, push, and pull 50 pounds.
  • Has the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Holds a four-year, Bachelor’s degree. A background in Marketing or Communications is preferred.
  • Has two years of marketing experience.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Video editing abilities are a plus.
  • Is a self-motivated leader who can manage projects independently and think strategically, plan, and problem solve.
  • Ability to lift, rotate, push, and pull 50 pounds.
