Lisa Thiel, Director of Marketing and Corporate Development

Lisa is the driver in building community involvement and nurturing relationships with industry peers, business partners, and clients. She is the inhouse friendly face and words-smith who is responsible for sharing information to various stakeholders throughout the building process.
Lisa researches market movement and sectors of evolution to help tactically lead and grow the business. She develops and executes a strategic marketing plan to attract project opportunities, cultivate new and existing relationships, and educate through deliberate and value-add initiatives and programs. She develops project-specific marketing plans through intentional goal alignment exercises to encourage ongoing positive client relations.
Lisa earned her degree in public relations from the School of Journalism at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She also completed programs at the University of Queensland in Australia and Parsons School of Design in New York City.
She serves on the Young Leaders Executive Committee and chairs the Building A Foundation program for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Minnesota – a program dedicated to practical education about the interdependent facets of a real estate development project. Lisa also served as a committee member for two consecutive years to plan the YLG Annual Program for ULI Minnesota.
