Stahl Construction Corporate Philanthropy

For years our employees have made the Stahl Corporate Giving program a high priority. The goal of the program is simple:  to do what we can to help make the world a better place. Through generous donations of their time, talent and treasure, Stahl employees have provided much needed support to many of the communities in which they live and work.

When Wayne Stahl founded Stahl Construction, he wanted to create a business that embodied his core value of living with a thankful heart. From our beginnings until now, living thankfully has meant being an active, giving partner in the communities in which we work, helping others, and making the Twin Cities a better place to live. This commitment to community service and community giving takes many different forms:

• Stahl is a proud member of the Minnesota Keystone Club, each year contributing 2% of our pretax dollars to charitable organizations.

• Stahl’s employee-led Corporate Giving Committee guides where philanthropy is focused, and our employees busy themselves every year organizing company-wide giving events and other volunteer opportunities.

Stahl also looks for ways to advance our philosophy of community giving and philanthropy in our business practices. One example is the mentor / mentee relationship that we formed in 2008 with MN Best Enterprises, a minority company wishing to grow and to learn from a more experienced CM partner.

At Stahl, we believe you must be the change you want to see in the world. Thinking it doesn’t make it happen. This is why we have continued to give philanthropic dollars during the recent recession, and it is why so many of our employees are personally involved in great community-based and service organizations.
