As much as we might like you to think otherwise, construction is not rocket science. For the most part it’s doing things on time, which requires effectively communicating to everyone involved what needs to be done, by whom and when. Because a construction project is made up of thousands upon thousands of communications, this can be a daunting task.
Our employees have shown that they understand the importance of effective communication in running a successful project. It's very rare to hear anybody on one of their projects utter the words, “I didn’t know.”
My greatest strength
is being able to communicate with the client as well as the trade contractors on-site.
In his over 30 years in the construction field, Gary has developed into a master problem solver. He is one of our most experienced superintendents, has been on our team for 21 years and usually can be found on our most challenging and complex projects.
Gary will tell you that communication is his most important job as a field superintendent. He is an excellent communicator with both owners and trade contractors, and a meticulous planner. The old adage “plan your work and work your plan” certainly applies to Gary. He constantly ensures that everyone knows what’s been done, what’s being done and what’s going to be done.
