Stahl Construction Multi Family/Hospitality Projects

The one unique characteristic of multi-family / hospitality projects is redundancy – numerous rooms of identical or similar design. To ensure quality and schedule on these projects, we build a complete mock-up of a typical room. We then identify any missing or substandard items so the trade contractors can avoid making the same mistake in the rest of the building. This systematic, pro-active approach is just one reason why we consistently deliver our multi-family / hospitality projects ahead of schedule, with little or no punch list. After all, we don't want anyone to be without a home any longer than necessary.

Residence Inn by Marriott | new construction

Stahl was the design / builder for this 124-room, four-story hotel totaling 88,000 SF. The project was designed and constructed simultaneously with a Residence Inn by Marriott; both are located at Cascade Station near the Portland, Oregon Airport.

Keeping sustainability top of mind during construction, a number of “green” practices were implemented; 94% of all construction waste were recycled, diverting it from landfills, 20% of the building materials came from within a 500 mile radius of the project site, therefore reducing the amount of fuel needed for material deliveries. In addition, actions to reduce construction pollution were taken by controlling soil erosion, waterway sedimentation, and dust generation.
