Richfield City Hall | new construction
As construction manager working for the City of Richfield, Stahl managed the building of a new 98,000-SF city hall, licensing and police / fire facility. This state-of-the-art facility houses city offices, council chambers, police offices, a gun range, 911 dispatch, administrative areas, a fire apparatus bay, training spaces, and dorms.
This project posed an interesting challenge from the start: the new building sits just eight feet from the existing city hall building. During construction the City continued to operate out of the old building, which remained open to the public and fully operational. The close proximity of the new building allowed the City a seamless transition from old to new upon completion, wasting no time or expense with a temporary facility. Careful planning and flawless execution were required throughout the project.
