Stahl Construction and Three Rivers Park District were presented with a Best in Real Estate Award for the Silverwood Park Development at the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal’s 2009 Best in Real Estate Awards. The project was a finalist in the Hospitality and Recreation Development / Redevelopment category. The ceremony was held on Thursday, April 16 in downtown Minneapolis.
A total of eight judges chose 27 winners and finalists in 16 various categories from hundreds of nominees. Judges representing a cross-section of industry specialists evaluated projects on key metrics (size of the deal, complexity of the deal, and cost per square foot), physical attributes (interior and exterior architecture and design, sustainable design principles, and tenant amenities), and impact (accurately addresses market demands, importance to Twin Cities market, contribution to the community, and adaptability to future market need).
Stahl was also a finalist in the Office Development category for the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and Regional Forensic Lab project. |
