Stahl Construction Municipal Projects

Public-sector work requires a different mindset than does private-sector work. Rather than dealing with a single decision maker, public-sector work requires that we interact with a group of people who digest information at varying speeds and reach conclusions in different ways. We understand how public organizations function, and are sensitive to the group members in terms of positions, intentions and needs. Our patience with boards, committees and other public groups, and our ability to facilitate the sometimes challenging public process make Stahl particularly well-suited for this kind of work.

Silverwood Park | new construction

As the project's construction manager, Stahl recently completed $10-million of upgrades to Sliverwood Park, part of the Three Rivers Park District. Among the improvements are a new paved trail system, reconstruction of the island foot bridge, updates to the existing park maintenance facility, a complete overhaul of the park's main entrance and parking lot, and a new state-of-the-art visitors center.

The project is part of the State of Minnesota’s Buildings, Benchmarks & Beyond (B3) Project for sustainability. The B3 program is meant to be compatible with national programs such as LEED while maintaining regional values, priorities, and requirements.
