Students Tour Stahl’s Ankeny Centennial High School Project Site

On October 6^th, approximately 180 students from architectural classes at Iowa State University toured Stahl’s Ankeny Centennial High School project site.  The tour was sponsored by the Masonry Institute of Iowa, which seeks to educate about and promote masonry construction.  Stahl field superintendents Dennis Kenison and Lee Harrison conducted the tours along with representatives from DLR Group (the project’s architects), Forrest & Associates (the project’s masonry contractor), United Brick & Tile (a project supplier), and the Masonry Institute.  Students enjoyed the opportunity to see construction in action and learn about the process and materials first-hand.
