Stahl completed the 34,000 SF UMD Swenson Civil Engineering Building in January of 2010. The building adjoins Voss Kovach Hall (home of the mechanical and industrial engineering programs) and features specialized teaching and research laboratories.
Two of the six laboratories are two-stories in height with full glass walls and promote "Engineering on Display," which showcases to viewers what civil engineers actually do. The project has received LEED Gold certification.
