Swenson Civil Engineering Building | new construction
This 34,000-SF, two-story, high-tech teaching / training center houses the University of Minnesota Duluth’s civil engineering programs. The building adjoins Voss Kovach Hall (home of the mechanical and industrial engineering programs) and features specialized teaching and research laboratories.
Two of the six laboratories are two-stories in height with full glass walls and promote "Engineering on Display," which showcases to viewers what civil engineers actually do.
The project has received LEED Gold certification.
