The one unique characteristic of multi-family / hospitality projects is redundancy – numerous rooms of identical or similar design. To ensure quality and schedule on these projects, we build a complete mock-up of a typical room. We then identify any missing or substandard items so the trade contractors can avoid making the same mistake in the rest of the building. This systematic, pro-active approach is just one reason why we consistently deliver our multi-family / hospitality projects ahead of schedule, with little or no punch list. After all, we don't want anyone to be without a home any longer than necessary.
This is the first project of its kind in the Minneapolis St. Anthony neighborhood since Riverplace in the 1980s. Located on the two acres of land bounded by First Avenue, University Avenue, and Hennepin Avenue, Stahl demolished the former Lupient car dealership and built a three-story building with 13,500 SF of retail space on the street level and 30 apartments above. Stahl also renovated the historic 1902 Fire Barn and its annex into 13,000 SF of commercial office space and added a 215-space parking ramp to the south of the retail and apartment complex.
