Wayzata City Hall and Library | new construction
The community asked for traditional and charming buildings to fit Wayzata's small-town image. As construction manager, Stahl built a new 17,000-SF library with spectacular views of Lake Minnetonka through mahogany-framed windows, and added 15,400 SF onto the current city hall and fire station.
This project was a signature project, anchored by the library, for the City of Wayzata. High-end materials were specified, which required much care and attention to detail. There was little room for storage or staging of materials, and the city offices had to remain open and functioning throughout the construction process.
