As general contractor for the City of White Bear Lake, Stahl is constructing a new 54,000-SF public works salt / sand building, an outdoor materials storage area, a fuel island, rain gardens and natural screening elements.

Planning for the new facility has attempted to incorporate as many "green" features as practical. The most likely elements which will be included in the project include a green roof over the office area, geothermal heating and cooling, passive solar and possible photovoltaic cells. Energy efficient lighting with motion sensors will also be utilized throughout the building.
