Minneapolis Police Department: 3rd Precinct

This occupied project in South Minneapolis consisted of the addition of three stories including locker rooms, athletic training and weight lifting areas, mechanical spaces, offices and kitchen / dining areas. In addition, offices and locker rooms were renovated and bullet-proof glass was installed in the lobby.

Environmentally friendly materials and systems were utilized including a seat made out of recycled money mixed with resin, solar preheat panels on the south-side of the building to warm the air prior to using gas heat, and recycled plastic handrails.
