Wayzata Community Church

Stahl has worked with the Wayzata Community Church on a number of projects, including a new 600-seat sanctuary with vaulted ceilings and cupola, kitchen, fellowship hall, and library. Although the design incorporated the old sanctuary into the new space, no worship time was lost during construction.

In January 2016, Stahl also completed a 5,000 SF addition to the Wayzata Community Church. During pre-construction, the project team worked with the church’s Board to implement and execute fundraising efforts via a “Raise the Roof” campaign. The successful campaign resulted in redesigning the campus’ small chapel, creating mixed-use space on the third floor for the youth group to gather, and adding space for new mechanicals.

Additional construction projects completed by Stahl over the years include a Columbarium, children’s library, gymnasium, science room, music space, education classrooms, and extensive renovations throughout the existing building.
